A. Yes!

Q. WHAT KIND OF DOGS DOES KRISTA WORK WITH?

A. Slow dogs… Fast dogs… Low drive… High drive… Anxious… Stressed… Super happy… Unruly… Unfocused… Fearful… Shy….

Dogs that bite at you, circle, spin or run off while in the agility ring.

Dogs who miss contacts, knock bars, don’t hold their start line, fly off teeter, and other obstacle issues.

Q. HOW OBEDIENT DOES YOUR DOG NEED TO BE FOR YOU TO COME TO AN AGILITY CLASS?

A. Your dog needs basic good manners — sit, down, come … and be dog-and-people friendly.

Q. AT WHAT AGE CAN YOUR DOG START AGILITY?

A. Puppies can learn the foundation for agility with balls, toys, and games.

Young dogs can learn handling skills and obstacles that do not require any jumping.

Adult dogs can be introduced to obstacles and handling exercises.

Older dogs can learn foundation, handling skills, and obstacles that do not require any jumping.

Q. DO ALL YOUR STUDENTS HAVE TO ENTER COMPETITIONS IN ORDER TO TAKE CLASSES?

A. No. Agility is about having your best time ever — that’s all that matters.

Q. MY DOG DOES NOT LIKE OTHER DOGS, CAN HE COME TO AN AGILITY CLASS?

A. Only dog-friendly dogs can come to agility classes.

Private lessons are appropriate for a dog who does not like other dogs.

 

Q. MY DOG DOES NOT LIKE PEOPLE COMING CLOSE OR TOUCHING HIM, CAN HE PARTICIPATE IN AGILITY CLASSES?

A. Only people-friendly dogs can come to agility classes.

No reactive dogs are allowed.

Private lessons are appropriate for reactive dogs.

Q. WHAT ARE THE DOG AGILITY CLASSES THAT YOU OFFER?

A. Foundation, Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Competition Classes, and Private Lessons.

All classes are taught by Krista.

Q. HOW MANY WEEKS IS EACH SESSION? WHAT IS THE COST?

A. 5 weeks for $165. No refund after the first class. Classes start soon and private lessons are always available!

 

Q. HOW LONG IS EACH CLASS?

A. Classes are approximately 1 hour.

Q. HOW MANY DOGS ARE IN EACH CLASS?

A. Typically there are 4-6 dogs.

Q. DO YOU OFFER PRIVATE LESSONS?

A. Yes. Private lessons are a great way to work on many things one-on-one.
