The most important thing you want to know about me is…

Dogs aren’t a part of my life. They ARE my life. I love dogs!

My dog pack usually includes border collies, golden retrievers, and Doberman pinchers.

I always have a puppy in training, agility dogs to show, and vintage dogs to keep moving and motivated.

I grew up with terriers and mixed breeds, I lived with and trained a Saluki — so I understand the "hound" mindset too.

It’s important to me that you will learn stuff that makes sense to your dog so she wants to do, what YOU want – first time, every time.

I teach group classes, private lessons, make home visits, and help people by phone. You can find classes in agility, obedience, puppy kindergarten, family pet dogs, and Canine Good Citizen® classes!

My North Phoenix training facility has three different fenced rings – puppy, competition, and show.

Krista Cantrell M.A. is a cognitive animal behaviorist, agility competitor and instructor, whisperer, qigong practitioner, and internationally published dog book author.

She is fascinated by how dogs think, process information and learn.

Her training approach was summed up in the title of her first dog book, “Catch Your Dog Doing Something Right: How to train any dog in five minutes a day.” First edition published by PenguinPutnam Inc., second edition published by The Lyons Press.

Krista loves to run agility with her dogs.
